Ladies' Ministry

Men's Ministry

The CCC ladies' ministry leaders provide opportunities for women to fellowship together, study together and serve together to support ongoing activities of the church.

A Wednesday morning Bible study is held each week at 10 am in the fellowship hall, and is open to all women.  (9/8/10- begin "Battlefield of the Mind" by Joyce Meyers)  "Girl's Night Out" and other special events are planned throughout the year.  Baby and bridal showers are also planned by this group when our church family celebrates these milestones together. Please check the calendar page to see upcoming events.

Sister to Sister is a new program designed to help our women get to know each other better, and support one another with prayer and encouragement.  See Linda Carroll to sign up.

For more information, contact Linda Carroll at 770-788-7675. For info on the Wed am Bible study, contact Linda Leavitt at 770-786-2722.

Our men's ministry is in transition.  Everyone is busy and time is precious, so it's important for men to feel the time spent together is profitable.  We want to encourage fellowship, mentoring, and service among the men who attend CCC.  If you have ideas of how to accomplish that effectively, contact Ted Pogue (770-786-7370).

Currently the men are involved in renovating the Education wing bathrooms. Needed: plumbers, carpenters, painters, helpers.  We also need volunteers to help with the groundskeeping for the remainder of the summer/fall.  A sign up sheet is posted to let us know when you can help.  See Greg Williams if you have questions about this ministry.

For information about the breakfast, contact Hal Wells at 770-464-1720. For information about the renovation project, contact Wesley Weeks at 770-843-1766.

"Young at Heart" Ministry

"Young at Heart" meets on the third Tuesday of the month at 10 am in the fellowship hall for refreshments and activities.  This active group, led by Beth Wells, plans road trips, get-togethers, and has speakers from our community talk on relevant topics (health & nutrition, exercise, hospice care, keeping your brain active).
